Background
SWACHA is a trade association formed in the early 1970's by leading financial institutions in the states of Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana.
Today, the Association has approximately 1,100 members, including financial institutions, businesses, government agencies and professionals.
SWACHA operates under the direction of a member-elected board of directors and is assisted by a number of advisory committees populated by senior and executive officers of member organizations.
Dennis Simmons, AAP, is the Association's President. Supporting Mr. Simmons are directors of training and education and member and risk management services.
SWACHA is affiliated with many industry organizations and agencies in order to provide a complete array of services and capabilities to its members. |
